Wool smoking cap, unlined but the sides fold down to make a sleeping cap. A very warm and fancy looking cap. Reverse applique detailing on crown. Size 7 5/8 fit should be loose rather than tight for the best comfort. Sold shipping in a flat rate box or bag folded as carefully as I can.

A very plain pillbox style camp or smoking cap. Unlined and no tassel but a bit of visual interest with the patterned fabric crown and applique detailing. Size is a hard to find 8 for the larger cranium, good for a Welshman.

Like C-1 above this unlined wool cap is folded up for normal wear (as pictured) but can be unfolded for use as a sleeping cap or just to cover your ears in a cold wind. A beautiful cap with very restrained decoration, may not be as flashy but is very elegant and comfortable. Size is 7 5/8 and the price is just $Sold

Unlined wool cap with reverse applique detail on crown. Like the other black wool caps on this page it is folded and can be worn as a sleeping cap. Flashier than C-5 but not overdone. Size 7 1/2 and priced at the quick sell price of $SOLD

Not just another pillbox style camp hat this cap has a hidden ear flap inside. Very soft wool flap unfolds from inside the cap to help avoid frostbitten ears on those cold nights in camp or in your house when the heat goes out. Size is 7 1/2 Sold
General note on size, shipping and ordering:
Sizes are a guess based on using a hat stretcher run out to fill the cap without straining it, then I measure the stretcher and convert the measurement to standard hat sizes, mistakes can be made at every step and the so called standard sizes vary by make so this means the sizes are more or less around about what I say they are. Fit on the three black wool caps should be loose, the pillbox styles not so much.
Shipping is for one cap, if you are buying two of the pillbox or one of the black wool and one pillbox I should be able to fit them in a $5 mailing bag, two of the black wool would fit in a $10 box and I should be able to shove in two or three more caps. So if you want them all I am sure I can make them fit into one $10 box so you will be saving a lot of money so you really should just buy them all.
